Road Trip!

Just got back from a 2 1/2 week, 3,600 mile family road trip. We pretty much headed south to the Gulf of Mexico at Galveston, TX with a number of stops along the way. The kids did amazingly well. We all had our moments but shared a lot of fun memories. We've got about 1,800 digital pictures and video (counting the hundreds of things like the van's ceiling found on the kids' camera). This 5-minute video shows some highlights.

a couple new videos

I haven't posted videos in a while. Here's a couple things that went on in our house while homeschooling the last few days.

Isaac and Noah have been working on memorizing the books of the Bible. One day, to our surprise, when Isaac got a little stuck on one, Lydia jumped in with the next book. Since then, we've all been working on them together. Here's how far we've gone...

And, here's the obligatory rocket balloon experiment going through the middle of our living room...

"Look how fast I can put the states together!"

This is from several months ago, but having just discovered HomeSchoolViewTube now we have a "decent" place to host videos. Enjoy!

Silent Night

A little behind on posting things. This video was taken a few weeks ago (when it was still Christmas). Here's Noah, age 2, singing "Silent Night".

Snow Slide

Finally, we have enough snow to make a nice snow slide.

How snowy is it? It's so snowy the paper delivery guys have to get creative so the papers don't get lost in the snow...

Vacation Video 2006 ***

We took a little trip to Orlando, FL a few weeks ago, and maybe you've been wondering why I haven't posted any pictures from this trip (or maybe not). Well, I've been working on a little movie with pictures and video clips, most of which were taken with our handy Sony Cyber-shot. It's about 5 minutes long and you can see it here. Enjoy.
