We said hello and goodbye to a second baby on August 20th. Alex made it to about 15 weeks before passing early on to be with the Lord. This baby will be just as dearly missed as his slightly older sibling. This little one also had his or her mother's beautifully unique hands,
We've been learning and researching more about "Brachydactyly Type C",
But, while we wait for more on that, we remember and appreciate our short time with little baby Alex. We buried him today, next to his brother Gabriel. The incredible weather allowed us to linger a little longer in the "Garden of Angels" and brought us some different memories.
If that second picture in particular brought as many tears to you as it did me while creating this post, I apologize, I just had to include it, I warned you. Even though I was standing right there at the time, the, um, 'drama' of the moment didn't even hit me until I saw this picture tonight. ...here, let me hand you a kleenex.

Yes, please pass the kleenex. What a sad thing to bury a child, yet we often forget about big brothers and sister loosing a playmate, best friend, confidant, partner in mischief as well as another member of the team. God's ways are far beyond our ways and understanding. So, we place our trust in Him and rejoice in the salvation we have in Jesus.
